About the Tutor:

Carmel LaffertyPrior to retirement, I worked in many roles in banking and with the Brisbane City Council. Over the years I have volunteered with various groups and organisations.
I worked as a volunteer in the U3A office for approx. 7 years. Prior to the Covid outbreak in March 2020 I was on the Winter School Committee.
I have been a member of Modern History H27 class since 2014 and Facilitator since Term 1 2024.
The variation of subject matter and the professionalism and enthusiasm of the class members is amazing.
