This course is the second of a three part series which surveys world history, from the Neolithic Revolution 10-12,000 years ago to the early 20th century, examining how different societies how dealt with common problems, how they expanded, and how they declined. In this term we will be surveying the major events in the world from about 600 CE to 1800 CE, including the Reformation, and several revolutions.
Venue: 97 Creek St
Tuesday 1.00pm - 2.15pm. Classes start 15 July, finish 16 September.
Cost: $50 (prepaid), 10 weeks

About the Tutor:

Dr Robert Hogg has taught history at the University of Queensland, Griffith University, and the Australian Catholic University. He has taught Australian History, Australian Popular Culture, World History, Sex and Gender, European Fascism, Colonialism and Imperialism, and the European Union. He is the author of Men and Manliness on the Frontier: Queensland and British Columbia in the Mid-Nineteenth Century.
