About the Tutor:

Gary KingBonjour! I’m a transplanted Canadian who left Ontario six years ago with his Australian wife, after 36 years in Canada. I worked as a French & History teacher in elementary schools, served as VP of the local teachers’ union, before I retired as a principal in 2013. Post school, I was a guide for school excursions to the USA – I was even in NYC the day after Mr. Trump won in 2016! I look forward to sharing my take on Canadian history and the five-plus centuries of interactions between us and our American cousins to the south. Bienvenue a H48!
