This course is for those with no background in Latin, or who met it long ago. It comprises an introduction to Latin grammar, reading Latin stories, and learning about these remarkable people from long ago. There will be a text book purchase required, for about $60 new, but used copies are available.

Friday 11.30am - 12.45pm. Classes start 18 July, finish 19 September.
Cost: $50 (prepaid), 10 weeks
About the Tutor:
I am a retired teacher. Although I had met Latin at school many years ago, I started from the beginning at U3A five years ago, and have enjoyed it enormously - the challenge of learning a difficult language, the history and culture of this remarkable people from long ago. I have been a tutor in Latin for the last two years.Unfortunately this class is over-subscribed and no new enrolments can be accepted at this time.
