You've never studied Bahasa Indonesia, the language of our nearest large neighbour?? In Term 1 we started from scratch a class for beginners in Indonesian. You're welcome to join if you've done even just a little Indonesian before. David to provide notes electronically and by short handouts.

Tuesday 11.15am - 12.30pm. Classes start 15 July, finish 16 September.

About the Tutor:
David Truman has an honours degree from ANU in Russian Language and Literature and Political Science. He has spent extensive time in Russia in five visits, most recently for three weeks in mid-2019. David has also been to Indonesia at least six times since 2002, and has travelled through most of Java, Bali and also North Sulawesi in 2019 and 2020. At U3A he has tutored Russian language, history, literature and culture since 2004, and has been facilitating an Indonesian class since 2020. He is keenly interested in history and changes in society, and enjoys bushwalking, nature and classical music.
