Italian Intermediate

This is NOT a conversation class. We read short stories, newspaper articles, tourist brochures etc. We deliver, in Italian, class talks (both prepared and impromptu). Interested members must have completed at least six years with Kevin or elsewhere and must consult with Kevin before enrolling.

Wednesday 9.45am - 11.00am. Classes start 16 July, finish 17 September.

About the Tutor:
After completing degrees in science and education at UQ, Kevin began teaching physics and mathematics and spent 30 years as head of mathematics at Wynnum North. Looking for a change of scenery on retiring and having enjoyed Latin at school, he joined an Italian class at U3A and in 2005, began taking his own classes. Until middle age he was a keen sportsman, playing grade cricket as well as squash and tennis fixtures. These days he keeps active through the gym and a heavy involvement in folk and square dancing.If you are a U3A Brisbane member you may enrol in this class online using the Enrol button below.
