In Term 3, topics include palaeontology (fossils), structural geology, metamorphic rocks, stratigraphy and geological mapping, climate change through time, and an excursion to Toohey Forest Park. The first class will be on 17 July.
District: City Precinct     Venue: Brisbane Square Library, 266 George St, Brisbane City
Thursday 12.00pm - 1.30pm. 1st, 3rd and 5th Thursdays. Classes start 17 July, finish 18 September.

About the Tutor:

Studied geology at the University of Queensland and Princeton University. Employed at the Geological Survey of Queensland for more than 40 years, mainly involved in regional geological mapping.
