B59 DRUMMING FOR LIFE     NEW

Beginner
Tutor: Mary Broughton
The Drumming for Life program focuses on learning percussion - anything struck with hands, sticks, or feet. We will play instruments like the marimba, drums, cymbals, tambourine, and timpani while practicing coordinated hand, foot, and full-body movements. These actions enhance timing, spatial awareness, and motor skills. More than just music, the program offers a fun, social, and expressive way to strengthen both brain and body. Through rhythmic learning and play, Drumming for Life supports staying sharp, mobile, connected, and creative as we age.
