Tutor: Beverley Hay
On each Sunday, rain or shine, the group walks for one hour in a local park. Once a month a member leads the group going further afield to other parks or interesting walks, or an evening walk along the Sandgate foreshore. There is coffee time in a local cafe after the walk, and a ten-minute break if the walk is longer than an hour. Wear comfortable shoes and a sun hat. New members are welcome. A quarterly schedule with addresses is provided, with most walks beginning at Chermside Shopping Centre. The group communicates via WhatsApp.
