B112 Tai Chi for Seniors - Intermediate

Explore the health benefits of this ancient art in a gentle form of exercise which combines relaxation, strength, and meditation. We will continue our journey with warm-up exercises and QiGong (Chee Koong), building energy and preparing you for Tai Chi form. This class has been running for several years and is suitable for people who have already done some Tai Chi. It is not suitable for beginners. The class starts at 9.15am. We do Shibashi Sets 1-3, 8 Brocades, Lohan, Lotus, Tai Chi 10 as well as some other breathing and stretching exercises. More advanced students come early to practise the full Tai Chi Form and Fan.
District: Logan District     Venue: Riverdale Park, Armstrong Road, Meadowbrook
Monday 9.15am - 10.30am. Classes start 2 February, finish 6 April.

About the Tutor:

I am a retired high school teacher of English, French, Drama and have been doing Tai Chi since 1994. I am happiest in the bush, walking, birdwatching or in the garden or on my bike. Reading is another major occupation as well as looking after the grandkids.
