THIS IS NOT A CONVERSATION CLASS. Activities include:-1. Reading extracts from newspapers, tourist brochures, short stories etc. 2.Listening to Italian music. 3. Giving class talks - both prepared and Impromptu. .4. Some additional aspects of grammar.Class members need to have completed 2 years of Italian with Kevin or elsewhere.

Monday 1.00pm - 2.30pm. Classes start 2 February, finish 6 April.

About the Tutor:
After completing degrees in science and education at UQ, Kevin began teaching physics and mathematics and spent 30 years as head of mathematics at Wynnum North. Looking for a change of scenery on retiring and having enjoyed Latin at school, he joined an Italian class at U3A and in 2005, began taking his own classes. Until middle age he was a keen sportsman, playing grade cricket as well as squash and tennis fixtures. These days he keeps active through the gym and a heavy involvement in folk and square dancing.Unfortunately this class is over-subscribed and no further enrolments can be accepted at this time.
