L17 Performing Shakespeare for Beginners


Tutor: John McNeill
A fun exploration of the joy and beauty of Shakespeare's works. The course is aimed at those who know very little about Shakespeare and may even be a little daunted. In a very supportive environment our group will prepare a group performance of some of the Bard's work for our final lesson. It will be quite stripped back, no sets, costumes or props. The group will simply share the joy, fun and drama of Shakespeare for family and friends.
Venue: 232 Adelaide St
Tuesday 1.00pm - 2.30pm. Classes start 27 January, finish 31 March.
Cost: $50 (prepaid), 10 weeks

About the Tutor:

John McNeill is a professional actor and Drama coach. He has performed a wide variety Shakespearian roles and has considerable experience as an actor in stage and screen productions. He hopes to demystify Shakespeare for course participants and provide a challenging but joyful and supportive experience, culminating in a celebration of Shakespeare's works for the family and friends of the group.
