Tutor: Dormei Leung
On the first Thursday each month at 9 am, we meet inside the Central train station, then get on the public transport to explore our adventure of the day, visit beautiful parkland, museums, art gallery, go to the old town, and popular seaside suburbs. It will contain a 4km walk plus getting in and out of public transport. There is lunch or coffee with the group before heading back home. Bring your go card, the concession card, a sunhat, and water. Dress code - comfy smart. Disclaimer: X-30 Adventure Group activities are not covered by U3A insurance. It is the participants' full duty to look after their own safety & their well-being.

Due to the waiting list, re-enrolment with U3A each term is required for all members.
About the Tutor:
Dormei Leung originally from Hong Kong lives most of her life in Brisbane since 1973. She discovered her passion in walking at her young age of 14 if not 13 years old while Hong Kong was badly polluted and TB was a commonly known illness affecting many Hong Kong citizens. The adventure Group was created from my passion to live life to the fullest, even as we grow older and drive less. With the Queensland Government's 50-cent public transport incentive, we can travel far and wide, embrace the joy of freedom, and share new adventures together- while making wonderful connections with like-minded friends.Unfortunately this class is over-subscribed and no further enrolments can be accepted at this time.
