Over ten weeks, this engaging course explores how classical music evolved alongside the century's art, architecture, and historical upheavals. From Debussy's shimmering soundscapes to the rhythmic drive of Stravinsky, the minimalism of Reich, and the spiritual stillness of Prt, you'll hear how composers redefined what music could be.

About the Tutor:
Barbara has a Bachelor of Music from UQ where she developed a love of the Baroque period and musicology. She spent 25 years as a high school music teacher and held the position of Head of Performing Arts. Since leaving full time education, Barbara works with preservice teachers at UQ supporting them as they develop their craft.
