B66 Walking Stick for Self Defence     NEW


Beginner
Tutor: Marcel Miltenburg
This class utilises whatever you may have in hand, either a walking stick or umbrella, which may help to deter, de-escalate or prevent a possible situation requiring self defence. You will learn a complete form based on Tai Chi and Kung Fu movements to help increase your mobility, flexibility, balance and focus on defence in a slow and methodical sequence of movements, which may eventually lead to being Slow is Smooth and Smooth is Fast. Venue: Riverdale Park undercover Octagon. Please contact tutor for more information if necessary.

Thursday 8.15am - 9.30am. Classes started 29 January, finish 2 April.

About the Tutor:

I have practised the Health and Empowering Benefits of Yang Style Tai Chi since 1999 and teaching since 2011 after attending a Masters and Instructors Seminar /Workshop in Shanghai, China.
I am very committed to promoting the countless benefits of this centuries old Self Cultivation Art, through Forms Philosophy and Perseverance, helping to enrich and strengthen Body, Mind and Spirit .
