Learn To Play the Ukulele Why? The ukulele is small, easy to carry and store, they're cuddly and lovable, easy to learn and to play. And did I mention inexpensive. Join a group, meet new friends, entertain the grand kids, annoy the neighbours, the benefits are endless. Along with all the above, learning and playing music promotes; mental health, stress relief, physical dexterity, and group therapy. Just what the doctor/therapist ordered! It is a happy instrument. You cannot be sad playing a ukulele.

Wednesday 1.00pm - 2.30pm. Classes start 28 January, finish 1 April.
Cost: $50 (prepaid), 10 weeks

New playable ukes are available at music stores from $50 upwards, while a serviceable used uke can be purchased for much less on Facebook or other marketplace sites.
About the Tutor:
My name is Terry Halton, I’ve been playing and teaching ukulele for approximately 20 years. Both have brought me much pleasure.One of my hobbies is adopting and repairing ukuleles. As a corollary I have an interesting collection of ukes which adorn (euphemism for clutter.) my music room. I have also compiled an extensive library of music for the ukulele.
As my family have tired of my repertoire, I regularly attend ukulele groups and entertain at Retirement Homes.
