With the death of Queen Elizabeth I, the reign of the Tudors has now ended. The 17th century brings the Stuarts to the throne with James I and Charles I before the Protectorate of Oliver Cromwell and the Interregnum. England endures the horrors of the Civil War and the execution of Charles I, before the return of the "Merry Monarch", Charles II. Plague, The Great Fire of London and more religious upheaval follow, plus that famous diarist, Samuel Pepys.
Venue: 232 Adelaide St
Tuesday 11.30am - 12.45pm. Classes start 21 April, finish 23 June.
Cost: $50 (prepaid), 10 weeks
