J07 French - Fundamental, Introductory

This is the second term of a four-term (one year) course based on the "BBC Talk French - Complete Course" with supplementary resources. Emphasis is on being able to converse in basic French using the correct pronunciation, with particular attention to enhancing your experience as a visitor to France or any other French-speaking country, and also on comprehension and fluency. Enjoy learning to speak and read the beautiful French language while learning about culture and history along the way.
Venue: 232 Adelaide St
Wednesday 1.00pm - 2.15pm. Classes start 22 April, finish 24 June.
Cost: $50 (prepaid), 10 weeks

About the Tutor:

Cheryl HaydenDr Cheryl Hayden is a former teacher, journalist, media advisor and communications manager. She has spent the last 20 years researching and writing about her ancestral homeland, Cornwall, with particular interest in the Cornish response to the Reformation during the second half of the 16th Century, a topic which formed the basis for her PhD. Cheryl has published numerous short stories and academic papers, and one novel. Her most recent project has been the transcription of her grandfather's World War I diary, written during his service aboard HMAS Australia. This has been accessioned by museums in Australia and Scotland.
