Tutor: Christopher Davidson
In this class, we aim to make non-fiction more rewarding by reading a book in stages, and meeting online fortnightly to review what we've read. This term, in an effort to improve our engagement with non-fiction books, we'll be sharing How to Read a Book - A Classic Guide to Intelligent Reading, by Mortimer J. Adler and Charles Van Doren. First published in 1940 and revised in 1972, it is still in print because of its value to book lovers. To help you decide, here are two videos on Youtube:-
