The Writers' Collective began with four budding writers who met at a U3A course and found inspiration in sharing their writing journey. Their learning opportunities have created a welcoming space for writers at all levels to connect with other writers and share writing in supportive ways. There are no expectations, just an openly enthusiastic group eager to explore the written word with an optional writing exercise, the reading of our work, and to give or receive feedback. The Collective has no formal curriculum or materials, sessions are ongoing each term while interest remains.
Venue: 288 Edward St
Tuesday 11.00am - 12.30pm. Classes started 14 July, finish 15 September.
Cost: $50 (prepaid), 10 weeks

About the Tutor:
Worked at The Times and The Sunday Times in London for 6 years as a Political & Religious Researcher. Had my byline on 2 articles in The Sunday Times. Worked with 3 best selling non-fiction authors including Phillip Knightley. Before retiring I worked for 10 years contracting as an IT Trainer and Manager then for Dept of Resources in Brisbane.If you are a U3A Brisbane member you may enrol in this class online using the Enrol button below.
