Nature journaling is a mindful practice of drawing and writing in response to what you see, hear, and feel as you immerse in nature. This class introduces the practice and guides you in a number of steps to get you started. You do not need a background in drawing or writing to begin. You will need a pencil and unlined paper - an A5 visual arts diary (mixed media is best) but use whatever you have at hand. Sessions may involve field experience such as sitting by a window, on your patio or in your garden. You will be encouraged to journal between class sessions.
Monday 1.30pm - 3.00pm. Oct 12, 26 Nov 2, 9, 16th. Classes start 12 October, finish 7 December.
Cost: $25 (prepaid), 9 weeks
