TINA: THE TINA TURNER MUSICAL, LYRIC THEATRE QPAC

Tina: The Tina Turner Musical is a jukebox musical featuring the music of Tina Turner and depicting her life from her humble beginnings in Nutbush, Tennessee, to her transformation into a rock and roll superstar.

Featuring more than 20 of her iconic songs, including "Simply the Best", "River Deep – Mountain High" and "Proud Mary", this smash-hit musical is bringing Australian audiences to their feet night after night.

With critics calling it "a rock music spectacular" (Limelight) and "breathtakingly exciting" (ArtsHub), this heart-pumping production is guaranteed to raise the roof at the Lyric Theatre!

MT TAMBORINE BUS TRIP

The next trip is to Mt Tamborine, which we probably know quite well. Can one tire of the endless beauty of the mountains? If you don’t want to explore the interesting shops of Gallery Walk, think about an easy rainforest walk nearby. From the German Cuckoo Clock Nest on Long Road, turn left at the roundabout intersection. It’s a 5 min walk away to Wongawallen Road. This will take you to the Tamborine Mountain Distillery.

Turn right at the roundabout along Wongawallan Road. Eight mins away is Tamborine Mountain Heritage Centre and Tamborine Mountain Creative Arts. A few steps further along is a rainforest walk to the Giant Strangler Fig where you can enjoy your own picnic morning tea.

The Schedule
8.30am - Bus departs Roma St. 10.00am - Drop off at Gallery Walk - free time to browse, have Morning Tea (at your own cost), browse the shops or do the rainforest walk.
11.15am - Depart Gallery Walk for Coffee Plantation tour.
12.45pm - Depart Coffee Plantation for Lunch at St Bernard’s.
2.30pm - Arrive at Tamborine taking a scenic drive the back way to the Yatala Pie Shop and an opportunity to buy pie for dinner! Leaving Yatala, we head for Roma Street, arriving back approximately 4.45 p.m.
